Have you ever stopped for a moment and thought back to certain times in your life when you felt you stepped up to another level? A turning point? We all have them. Let’s see, your first step (you probably don’t remember that one) ok, your very first day of school…ever! Turning thirteen was one, maybe your first kiss happened here, then learning how to drive, graduation, becoming of age where you could drink alcohol! And then your early to mid-twenties when you found yourself repeating the wisdom of your parents to someone else and thinking maybe they weren’t as dumb as you thought they were. Each one of those events were turning points where you grew just alittle bit more and before you know it you were wondering what happened.

I was lying in bed tonight thinking about this and just had to get up and start writing, someday I’ll look back at these entries and wonder what I was thinking at the time. I think right now, I’m at a crossroads at 51 and I feel like I’m back in my teen years trying to figure out what I’m going to be when I grow up.

Over the years I did a great many things, played in rock bands, was in radio for almost 15 years, learned about computers and became a technology man. Then one day I heard about a man and nanotechnology, I just had to find out more. I think I have stumbled over another turning point not just in my life but in society.

It would seem to me based on all that I have researched and shared in my eBook, The New Technology – The End of Mankind, there will be a parting of the ways between religion and nano-technology. Technology has not given us what we hoped it would but it has given us what we didn’t expect. As the advancements in technology grow at an exponential rate we too will struggle with our morality, belief’s about how technology will be woven into our very beings.

Virtual Reality will sweep us away and we will be even more desensitized, lost in space so to speak, and we will struggle with what is real and what is not. We will be taken farther and farther away from the relational beings we were created to be, driven indoors, not interacting with each other face-to-face.

As nano-technology becomes main stream, religion will find itself at odds with how that technology is being developed, used and frankly forced upon us, possibly not even knowing you have been subjected to it. It seems ridiculous to think that we wouldn’t have a choice but look around the world, your world and take a close look at how we are failing. Economies, industries and the very jobs we hold to make the big machine run are disappearing or crumbling at our feet. Before you know it the government will own everything and you will be paying rent to the very people you elected. I digress, mixing technology, politics and religion in one blog post is crossing the line!

The world is at turning point, not just financially but with the global impact of technology, it has yet to be realized and begs to wonder will the machines win? Terminator? I wonder how far we will go, will the Matrix come to fruition? Who will control what and who will be able to afford the technologies yet to come?

A turning point on many levels is taking place and it seems to me we don’t hear about much of it because we may not be able to handle what we learn. In my eBook I touch on some of these advances and I alos give you the source so you can look for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

There will come a day in the extreme near future where computers will exceed the speed barrier of the human brain. In the next three years you will hear about it, what then will these machines be able to accomplish? Nano-technology is the turning point of mankind. Read about it in my eBook called The New Technology – The End of Mankind, just click on the product tab above.

Until next time.

As taken from the wiki site in bold font:

“The first use of the concepts in ‘nano-technology’ (but predating use of that name) was in “There’s Plenty of Room at the Bottom,” a talk given by physicist Richard Feynman at an American Physical Society meeting at Caltech on December 29, 1959.”

Two years after I was born there was talk of this new technology, it has however gotten ever so closely to becoming a reality in the 21st century.

“Feynman described a process by which the ability to manipulate individual atoms and molecules might be developed, using one set of precise tools to build and operate another proportionally smaller set, so on down to the needed scale.”

As I have said many times before I am not an expert on the science or development of nanotechnology, I am however, someone who is wondering what the big secret is. Sure you can find articles and government bodies on the development but it’s very low level. The futurists have a clearer picture of how these nanomaterials will be used, and thats the problem.

Will we know when and where not to mention how nanotechnology will be used? It will be used to improve our health, it wmay even be used to track a great many things including you and I. I’m not trying fear monger, I am merely talking about what the possibilities are and might be in the next ten to fifteen years. It may take longer but I have a feeling we are much father along than you and I are aware.

If you would like to read more on nanotechnology start at the wiki site:

happy reading.

I don’t tend to just sit and surf the NET, I do when I’m researching a topic or looking for more info for my eBook. I have been obsessed with Nano-technology work being done today or the lack of information on what is coming down the pipe. I spent some time at Nanowerk.com this morning and found it interesting but somewhat complicated because I’m not a scientist nor do I own a Masters degree. You can tell by how I write 🙂

The Mantra on the site is ” Enjoy exploring the web’s most comprehensive nanotechnology and nanoscience resources “

They also claim to be the #1 Nanotechnology Portal in the USA, there are roughly 1,979 nanoparticles from 137 suppliers. Also, the Nanotechology directory has 3,302 links to labs, associations, networks and companies.

Why do I mention this, my soon to be released eBook called “The New Technology – The End of Mankind” is primarily on this topic and what it will mean to you and your business, not too mention many other interesting points on business and technology in general. The purpose of this Blog is to talk about what very few are talking about, our future and how technology will impact our day-to-day lives.

Again, don’t just take my word for it, do your own reading. I’ll supply many links and resources to make it easy for you as I plod along.

Until next time.
